Hi lovely reader.
The place where we stayed was 2 hours away from my hometown by car.
To understand the importance of this camp I attended you need to know that nearly 6-7 months ago I started going to the gym and with the help of an amazing and inspirational man I started losing weight in healthy ways. But this doesn't last too long because there was christmas and family meals so I failed a few times but since then I'm trying to get up and I can say that I'm going to be okay now. The reason I was in this camp was my trainer who said this is going to help me a lot and it did, maybe a few weeks later but it really did.
This camp was for everyone: age, weight, gender didn't matter here. There were people twice my age and still we had a really great time together. We talked about our problems to each other, and shared funny stories, recipes .
On the first day after we arrived there was a little exercise which woke us up so the rest of the day went far better than we expected.
These two days was about not eating just drinking, chicken soup without any meat or vegetables, tea was on the list too.
Of course it effected our productivity and mood but later that day there was only meditation and talking so we managed to do that somehow.
However, there was a little trick because somewhere between 3 and 4 our trainer said we should go and do some sport. My roommates and I fell asleep so we missed the whole thing and the same thing happened to us next day.
It was so strange for me because the last time I slept during the day was maybe 4 years ago.
Don't get me wrong I haven't got any problem with it, I just can't fall asleep when the sun is up and shines bright.
On the second day we started our morning with walking in the woods near us. It was cold and early in the morning so my friends and I were mainly crawling or copying the movies they used in The Walking Dead.
Before we were leaving we had a chance to talk to a psychotherapist about our feels and how we cope losing weight.
And our day ended with a nice chat in front of the camp fire.
These two days were a very nice adventure which you will carry with yourself no matter what. I learnt how much my body can take and how important it is to make sure you take care of yourself.
I hope next time I can be there too.
